Hangzhou Normal University Medical College,located in city of Hangzhou (50 minutes by G Train from Shanghai), Capital of Zhejiang Province, has grown out of the former Hangzhou School of Zhejiang Medical University. In July2001, approved by Zhejiang Provincial People’s Government, it was merged into Hangzhou Teachers College(founded in 1908) and became Hangzhou Teachers College Medical College. In March 2007, it was renamed Hangzhou Normal University Medical College as Hangzhou Teacher College was renamed Hangzhou Normal University

In carrying forward the century-long fine tradition of Hangzhou Normal University and promoting the spirit of the “loyal, diligent, truth-seeking and innovative” motto, the Medical College will rely on the disciplinary strengths of the university and strive to make further contributions to the goal of
 building a top comprehensive university in the province”.
